Our first Gallery Friday was a great success! The gallery was packed from the opening at 5:00 until 8:00 and we still had several people until 9:00. It seems that our area is hungry for the arts and for something to happen in downtown Columbia.
Participating artists were: Mark Dillon, Celia Jameson, Laurence Johns, Riley May, Sylvia McAlister, Matt McAlister, Michelle Moraczewski, Rick Pipkin, Sherry Scheitel, and Will Bryson. Wonderful food was provided by Chef Luke Dillon from Square Market and many thanks to Aline and Howie George for the beautiful music that made the evening just perfect.Plans are in the making for the next Gallery Friday in about a month from now.
