The Artisans Are Back!

We're back! The Artisans have found a new home! We are now being hosted by
Wall Candy

Our featured artisans are Mark Dillon, Sandra Barrett-Hoomani, Eileen Moore, Susan Jones, Michelle Moraczewski, Sylvia McAlister, Sherry Scheitel and all of the regularly represented Wall Candy Artists.
Join us for our Artisans Party on Thursday, February 2 from 5:30-8:80 P.M.
We will have Local Art, Food, Drinks, Live Music, and Door Prizes

Two Day Open House

After a long summer break, the artisans are back. We will be having an open house on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. and on Sunday, Nov. 21, from 1:00 until 4:00 P.M.

New Artists This Month!

Come and join us this month as we welcome 6 new artists. As usual, there will be food, wine, music, and fun. Some of our new artists are: Elise Boggs-jewelry, Shirley Callelberry-watercolors, Bill Summar-woodturner. Music will be provided by Damien Boggs and also by one of our other artists. I will post the other names as I receive them. We plan to move part of the event out onto the sidewalk, weather permitting.

May Artisan Gallery Friday

We will also be hosting the Advanced Placement Art Classes from Central High School for this show. Come and be filled to the brim with youthful creativity.

There is a frenzy of activity getting the new art ready to knock your socks off. Last month's show was a blast! Help us make this one another great event. Please tell your friends and post links to this site on your facebook and twitter. Spread the word...there's art in Columbia.

Wow! Thanks Columbia!

Our first Gallery Friday was a great success! The gallery was packed from the opening at 5:00 until 8:00 and we still had several people until 9:00. It seems that our area is hungry for the arts and for something to happen in downtown Columbia.
Participating artists were: Mark Dillon, Celia Jameson, Laurence Johns, Riley May, Sylvia McAlister, Matt McAlister, Michelle Moraczewski, Rick Pipkin, Sherry Scheitel, and Will Bryson. Wonderful food was provided by Chef Luke Dillon from Square Market and many thanks to Aline and Howie George for the beautiful music that made the evening just perfect.

Plans are in the making for the next Gallery Friday in about a month from now. Check back for updates so that you can mark your calendars.
